Synopsis
Two of Latin America’s most iconic stars, Mexico’s Gael García Bernal (Y tu mamá también, The Motorcycle Diaries) and Uruguay’s Natalia Oreiro (Super Crazy), come together for the first time in this intimate and charming love story. Guillermo (García Bernal) and Mechi (Oreiro) are two executives in different divisions of the same large company. Usually, they are separated by over 6,000 kilometres, with Guillermo living in Mexico City and Mechi in Buenos Aires. Unexpectedly connecting during a regional departmental conference, the attraction between them proves immediate and tempting. Although they are both married, the flirtation sees them face their own fantasies and desires, changing their perceptions of their lives and dreams in more ways than they thought possible. Set against the backdrop of a corporate crisis, Nothing Between Us explores desire, choice, and the fragile balance between personal freedom and social expectations. Blending romance with sharp social observation, this captivating drama offers a warm, relatable, and contemporary portrait of love.
